Hi, I’m Lew
LKC Studios
An incubator for my software projects.
In 1982 my mom bought me a Commodore VIC-20. She claims she hasn’t seen me since. I never stopped coding—here’s what I’m working on now.

What I’m working on
Braintunnel
A coding agent for your life
A local-first personal assistant that indexes your email, calendar, documents, and notes so it can reason across your life the way a coding agent greps a codebase.
Monte Cristo
Immersive classic reading
An X-Ray style reader for great novels—spoiler-safe character guides, scene context, and full-text search for distractable minds.
And a few more still cooking—not ready to share yet.
Background
About me
I’m Lew Cirne. I’ve been writing software since that VIC-20 showed up in 1982. After Dartmouth and early engineering work at Apple, I founded Wily Technology and later New Relic—companies built around a simple obsession: helping people see inside the software they run.
These days LKC Studios is my home base for new product work: Gamaliel, Braintunnel, Monte Cristo, Reeve, and the next ideas that won’t leave me alone. My happiest days are coding days, and that’s pretty much every day.
Alongside the software, my wife Kirsten and I co-founded the Beloved in Christ Foundation and Belóved Gallery—ministry and art that sit next to the studio, not inside it.
